T-minus 10 days and 16 hours!

I have finally managed to schedule some time off from my full time job, and booked a rest week with Will. We’re looking forward to spending several days disconnected from the everyday and waking up to fresh coffee in the dense forest. But before we set up camp, and completely forget about society, we’re stopping by to revisit Quebec City. ☺️

We loved it the first time we visited, even with its streets crowded with tourists, and can’t wait to re-experience all of it again.

It’s been several weeks since I picked up a book

It’s been several weeks since I picked up a book. My last guiding me into heatwave season with all its potential for forest fires. I was painfully aware of all the fire hazard signs greeting us on drives to hiking trails in the Laurentian’s.

My current read, The Cottingley Secret, has me ready for a more imaginative experience. I’ll be taking it’s fairy lore to the caves we’ll be exploring today.
