Hi, I’m Caasie. You might know me by my nom de plume, C.C. Pereira. As a second generation Canadian, born and raised in the culturally and linguistically diverse Montréal, becoming a logophile with a love for adventure, food, and all things Europeanesque seemed unavoidable. Growing up I was an escape artist. Left to my own devices, I readily made the cobblestone streets of the Old Port, the vibrant forests in the western suburbs, and the books on my mother’s mahogany shelves my weapons of choice. With the help of my imagination, years of my childhood were spent wielding these weapons into my own magical world.

Currently, I’m a university student specialising in English Literature for my BA, and the female human two cats, Finley and Zoey, love to annoy. I originally founded The Finn Press as a way to organise my time, but it has now morphed into a platform for me to share my thoughts and work with you. My hopes are that my tales inspire and connect with you in the greatest way possible.
